Adding the Finishing Touches
Little Fish Cafe is almost ready to open its doors to the public - Read about our journey here.
We've already had a long journey with Little Fish Cafe, having taken on the site back in November 2013 - formerly The Velvet Lobster.
Since then, we've played host to a pop up restaurant, created our own Winter Forest themed bar for the Christmas period, and even unfortunately got caught in the New Years floods that swept the island in January!
Finally - after a lengthy refurbishment - we are very pleased to be putting the finishing touches to our new venue.
We have opened up the kitchen to create a focal point and have installed a cocktail station behind our beautiful marble bar, so we are now able to serve a wide array of food and drinks. Back of house, we've converted the basement into a very well equipped prep kitchen - which gives our chefs a little more space to create more delicious dishes for our customers. Decor is rustic and stylish and reflects our close proximity to the sea and local boats with cool hues of copper and blue.
Every table boasts views of the picturesque Douglas quay - whether you choose to linger at a cosy table for 2 or grab a seat at the bar to enjoy a quick coffee or snack.
With an opening date set for Tuesday, 15th April, it won't be long until you can visit for yourself!
